It is built around a set of simple collaboration and project management tools including shared calendars and lists. Family areas provide simple notification to family members through the use of RSS and iCal.
As always the Jones family is ahead of the curve. They have decided to use OrganizeUs.com to better organize their family. All of the members of the Jones family have accounts and can add to or edit the Jones family area.
Tom (Dad) finds the most useful feature to be the roll-up of information that is presented on their family's home page. Here he can easily see what is coming up over the next week as well as the things that he needs to get done around the house:
